Dear Parents,

We encourage you to take an active role in planning your child’s academic program. Therefore, we have published this guide of courses we intend to offer during the 2006-2007 school year. It includes information to aid you in choosing those courses that will meet the requirements of the California State University system and the University of California system. Please discuss the course options with your son or daughter before selecting classes for next year. Your discussion should take into account the following:
  1. Post high school academic goals.
  2. An examination of the suggested course work for graduation or university system admittance provided in this Curriculum Guide.
  3. An evaluation of the progress made toward graduating or toward the completion of the required courses related to the college or university of your choice.
The UC system and Cal State system have been working together to unify requirements for admission. The requirements call for prospective freshman to complete one year of course work in visual or performing arts.

We hope this information will help make your class selection smooth and error free.

Grade Level Camps
Much prayer and thought has gone into the topic of camp for our students. Our main goal in educating your children is giving them every opportunity to experience God to the fullest. As many of our parents and families can attest, getting away from the everyday "things" that distract us is vital when it comes to experiencing a fresh touch from the Lord. These camps provide that.

By keeping the camps at grade level it gives our students an opportunity to bond with their teachers and also with fellow students in a way that helps strengthen their walks with God. We pray that these camps will be an enriching and fulfilling part of their cherished memories of Calvary Chapel High.
