Report Cards And Progress Reports
The school year is divided into two semesters. Each semester includes two Progress Reports and a final semester Report Card. All Progress Reports and Report Cards will be mailed on the dates from the following list. In addition, teachers may issue individual progress reports at any time and are strongly encouraged to maintain the lines of communication with the parents of their students.

Weekly Progress Reports
If a student is struggling academically, a "Weekly Progress Report" can be obtained in the office form display. This form is taken by the student to all of his teachers. The teacher will note the student's grade for that week and make necessary comments. This is the student’s responsibility.
Valedictorian and Salutatorian
Ranking for Valedictorian and Salutatorian is based on quality and quantity of course work. Quality being the number of A’s, B’s, etc. a student earns and quantity being the number of academic courses taken at CCHS.
Grade Point Average (GPA)
When calculating GPA, honors classes and/or AP (Advanced Placement) courses receive an extra point as long as the grade is "C" or above. Students entering CCHS with honor classes from previous schools will receive accelerated GPA only for honors classes that are offered at CCHS.

Honor Roll
At the completion of each semester, a list of students who have achieved academic distinction will be published. Students who have an academic GPA of 3.5 or higher will be listed on the Honor Roll. Students who have an academic GPA of 3.75 or higher will be honored by the Principal’s Award.
Honor Athletes
At the completion of each semester, athletes who have an academic GPA of 3.5 or higher during the semester their sport is in season will be recognized as Honor Athletes.
